ABOUT ME

I am currently a second year student at gallaudet university, in washington DC. i come from a 3rd generation deaf family, and am deaf myself. English and American Sign Language are my two primary languages. I'm a girl who is fascinated with cooking, traveling, and meeting new people. I have a huge heart for animals and helping people in need. Down to earth, full of adrenaline, friendly, and very social would describe who i am.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we live for a particular reason, and the best way to live it is to take every opportunity that comes up front of you. even though i most certainly hate this motto, "You Only Live Once", i believe we all should try new things everyday.

Interests

Cooking is my passion & my escape from reality.

Contributing my services to people who are in need of help, and spend time with animals at the shelters.

when it comes to movies, i'm a hopeless romantic who loves every ending with a romantic touch. However, i have a tough side of me who is obsessed with horror and action movies.

Music....I'm a huge idiot when it comes to bands and all since my ears are profoundly deaf :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I must say....going on my first backpacking journey was the best thing i've ever done...it opened my eyes and gave me itchy feet and desires to travel again.
