I have lived in London for four and a half years, I spend most of my time running an artists project space (http://autoitalia.tumblr.com/) which is lots of fun and also lots of work! I live in a shared house and I spend my spare time trying to grow vegetables in our garden (with some success and quite a few failures!), cooking, doing fun stuff...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have know about CS for a while but never signed up or took part because I haven't travelled much in the last few years or had a place for anyone to sleep (shared house with no living room). I'm trying it out on the recommendation of friends who have been surfing and as I learn more about it, it sounds better and better. I'm looking forward to my first CS experiences :-)

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Well I am reading the Life of Pi again which is great. Also just started Where the Red Fern Grows (Americana high school classic i'm told?). On the back burner are the Shipping Forecast and Video Green by Chris Kraus and Eat, Pray, Love (cringe). I read probably too many blogs (mostly female centric). Music - I dislike my current collection mostly, need to invest more time. Films - recently watched: Grey Gardens, Persepolis, Groundhog Day, Looking For Eric, Into the Wild, Sex and the City 2, Citizen Kane (only got halfway through), The Social Network, Crazy Heart (oh, cried so much).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most recent good thing - walking through Chicago post blizzard with hardly anyone around. Lake Michigan looked like the arctic.
