About Me

ABOUT ME

We're a couple of easy-going ladies. Down-to-earth, silly and fun, low-maintenance. We like to travel light and spontaneously. Making new friends is one of the best parts of our travels, and we're always excited to learn from new cultures and experience different walks of life.

PHILOSOPHY

To thine own self be true.

Interests

We both love discovering new art and live music, as well as trying new foods. (We're pretty big foodies.) We also enjoy enjoy outdoor adventures and staying active, whether we're in the mountains, on a beach, or simply doing yoga.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Emily: The Pantheon, that left me awestruck. The sheer drive of human ingenuity is staggering. Watching the sun set over the basin in Santorini, drinking wine from plastic Cars (the movie) cups with my favorite person--that's one of my favorite memorable moments from recent travels.

Amanda: I spent 6 days hiking to Machu Picchu in Peru. We arrived at sunrise, with morning light streaming over rolling green peaks and through ancient doorways...I could feel the energy of the granite. Totally and completely awestruck.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you spill red wine on your clothes, before the wine dries, pour boiling water over the stain and through the fabric. If you have a canker sore in your mouth and no alcoholic mouth wash on hand, swish with vodka. Immediate relief and speeds up the healing process.
