ABOUT ME

I’m passionate about meeting people and discovering different cultures. In 2022, I traveled from the South to the North of Brazil in search of a deeper connection with my roots, and since then I’ve been exploring every corner I can. Today I live in Rio de Janeiro, but whenever possible I hit the road again.

What fascinates me the most about traveling is the chance to expand my mind: learning local customs, trying new flavors, picking up slang, diving into history, and, above all, creating new friendships.

Every time I’ve hosted travelers in Rio, I’ve had incredible experiences, deep conversations, unexpected laughter, and exchanges that I carry with me for life. I’m sure each new encounter will be just as special.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve hosted travelers from all over the world many times at my home in Rio de Janeiro and met incredible people. We explored tourist spots, but also enjoyed local experiences. In 2014, I moved to Belgium to work and study, and there I used Couchsurfing to meet locals and other foreigners in similar situations.

At the end of 2019, I returned to Rio de Janeiro and wanted to host again, but unfortunately, the pandemic made it impossible. I’m now eager to make new friends, practice the languages I’ve been studying, and show the city to people who want to experience Rio de Janeiro through the eyes of someone who lives here.
