Hey! I’m Amanda from Canada, living the adventure life. During my 20’s, I travelled far and wide, mostly out of a backpack, Couchsurfing, hitchhiking, chicken bussin and just moving around this pale blue dot with openness. While I was working a ski season in Japan, I met my now husband, Stefan from Australia. Together we own a bartending business, we’ve transformed vintage vehicles into bars which ultimately gives us freedom to travel 4 months of the year. We like to get amongst nature, hike, camp, meet travellers and like minded people and really experience this life.

We typically spend the summers in beautiful wine country of Ontario, in the food and beverage industry but you can often find me in my large vegetable garden. I like to cook, preserve food and create cocktails and mixes.

We hope to meet similar people along the way, ones who like to share time, stories, thoughts, ideas. We like to share meals with those hosting and id be so happy to cook for you! Hoping to gain local knowledge about swimming holes, fishin spots, hikes, trails>>> alll the good stuff!

We have a dog Bailey, she’s a beagle. She has travelled from Nova a scotia all the way to the island with us. She’s a pretty funny dog and rarely gets left behind.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I am on couchsurfing in hopes to meet new people, and to give back to other travelers. Ideally when I travel I want to meet locals who are keen to show me around and help to gain new experiences. Im always down to make friends, practice cooking & new cuisines and sharing meals ;) Good vibes

Once I went to Costa Rica on a two week trip and stayed for 5 months. Hiked a few mountains, getting to the top is always an accomplishment!
