ABOUT ME

I am a nerd. Generally in my spare time I watch a lot of movies (of all kinds), read (mainly fiction), knit, hang out with my cats... Occasionally I go to shows (punk, garage, ska, hardcore, indie, you name it)... I have gotten entirely too lazy lately, but i plan on being more productive about making things...
I am working at two jobs, and taking classes when I can... Working towards a nursing degree... a total departure from my previous area of study - BA in studio art, photography concentration.
Otherwise, planning a European trip for next summer..

PHILOSOPHY

i cannot have regrets,changing one thing would change everything... i would not be who i am without each event in my past.

my goals in life are to make good friends any and everywhere, (and to one day own a photo booth machine, and a claw-footed tub.)

music: otis redding, elvis costello, velvet underground, ac/dc, kanye west, mötley crüe, sweet, chuck berry, outkast, lucero, rolling stones, foo fighters, green day, missy elliot, sam & dave, the beatles, elliott smith, sloan, the clash, rftc, the misfits, talib kweli, elton john, braid, b&s, trans-am, eminem, the smiths, eagles of death metal... and on and on and on...
books:my macbook pro, anything jd salinger, the time travelers wife, me talk pretty one day, youth in revolt, dorothy parker poems, the dirt... i'm only kind of embarassed to admit that i love the twilight saga.(<---embracing my inner adolescent)
television:i tend to only watch tv on dvd or on hulu... for the most part (flight of the conchords, six feet under, nip tuck, arrested development, freaks and geeks, good eats, the wire, glee, sons of anarchy, etc.)
