I live in the Ironbound section of Newark, NJ, which is a (mostly) short train ride away from New York City. I have a 3 year old pit bull who I love very much.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have lots of unused couches and I live so close to the most famous city in the world. Since I can't be a traveler while I'm working and going to school, the next best thing for me would be to meet as many travelers as I can and share stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think it's a beautiful concept, but on my own road trips I've had trouble finding people to host me. I hope my experience changes.

Interests

Watching, playing or talking about soccer, seeing new places, drawing, writing, and relaxing with red wine and good conversation. Also beer. Or whiskey. I'm really not picky.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like sci fi and fantasy a lot, especially space themed and dystopian stories, although there are probably a lot I haven't seen or read. Feel free to recommend me your favorites. As for comedies, I love anything Monty Python, Arrested Development and Scrubs. And I think I have read every Georgia Nicholson book (I don't care how juvenile they are, that stuff is funny).
