The last 5 years of my life I have been working aboard luxury cruise ships in the duty free shops on board. I have been so fortunate with my job and all the beautiful places it has taken me! I work aboard for 6-7 months of the year and home for about 2-3 months. When I’m off work and back home, I go from 3 suitcases down to a backpack and continue my travels to places the ship doesn't take me.

I have done amazing backpacking trips through Asia, Europe, and Australia. When deciding where to go next, I usually just search flight deals to different places, get inspired and go with no real plan! I mainly travel solo these days and have very flexible plans.

I am very easy going, positive, and just looking for a good time meeting new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new to Couchsurfing and don't know why I haven't tried in the past. I'm looking forward to meeting locals and getting to know people from all over the world. Throughout my travels, I have learned it's the people who have always made my experience for the better.

Interests

I absolutely love hiking and scuba diving. Both I find so beautiful, rewarding, and peaceful. You will probably find me on a trail somewhere or walking aimlessly in a new city or town. I try to walk/bike everywhere and avoid the easy way by car.
