ABOUT ME

I grew up in a very small town, and have moved up and now live in a little bigger town, and work in an even bigger, way more diverse city. I somewhat enjoy my job, but it is my goal in life to own a bar & grill with my friend Megan. We have decided to be civil servants until we are 35 and then live the good life. I have a 15 (going on 22) year old niece and a 1 year old nephew that are my life. Family is a big part of my life, and I spend as much time with them (and the others) as MUCH as possible. I live with my boyfriend, Joe, and we have been together for about a year and a half. Things are OK, but we have our rocky periods. I love learning about new cultures and am active in the Diversity Committee and Affirmative Human Action Council at the school I work at. I have recently begun working out again, mostly because I am in 2 weddings this year, but I need to get healthier and live a life of being in shape. I'm not that big of a traveler, but I have been out of the country twice. In 2003 I went on a mission trip to London, and just this past April I spent time in St. Lucia with my BFF Megan! I mostly stick around the MN/WI area in the US, but I have been out west as far as Las Vegas, and east as far as New York City. Before I leave this wonderful Earth I will have visited Boston, Seattle, and Australia (at least).
