I'm a professional violinist, violin teacher, and chamber musician. I'm originally from Ohio but currently live in central Illinois by way of Colorado.

I love social dancing of pretty much any kind (tango, contra, swing, blues, salsa, Irish, folk, etc...), and I play in a tango band. I love cooking and eating tasty food, and I'm a beer snob. I'm also into movies and quality TV shows-musicals, classics, sci-fi, fantasy, comic book, intense dramas, and offbeat comedy.
