About Me
CURRENT MISSION
If I can dream it, I can do it!
ABOUT ME
I am an outgoing, adventurous individual trying to travel the world on a budget and a smile.
I love meeting new people and learning something new or teaching something I am passionate about. I do math for fun, but I also love the outdoors! I am trying to learn German and Russian, but sometimes I do get frustrated.
I am a mechanical engineer, but I like to think I am not THAT big of a geek...
PHILOSOPHY
If you can dream it, you can do it. Okay so I actually took that from Walt Disney, BUT I believe it 100%
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couch surfed in Seattle, with an awesome host! I couch surfed with 2 different people in Norway and also someone in Denmark. I'd love to pass on the experience to others!
Interests
I love to travel! I also love to do triathlons and other outdoor activities. I am an excellent baker, and I usually try and return favors through my baking. I enjoy riding horse, snowboarding, surfing, climbing, swimming, playing guitar, and I am usually up for anything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most recently swam with sea turtles and dolphins in Hawaii. They are so graceful and majestic. In 2014 I got to participate in the World's largest triathlon in Hamburg, Germany, there were over 10,000 participants.

Teach: I can teach music and math
Learn: I want to learn languages
Share: Share my baking goodies
What I Can Share with Hosts
For international Hosts I always try and share American baked good, I make them of course, or I try and bring something that you usually can't find in the country I visit. For example, in Norway, Tide To Go pens are non existent...and I tend to bring maple syrup with me a lot.
For US hosts, it's tricky. I still try and bake or bring a baked good (I make a mean cheesecake and my Chocolate chip cookies are popular) but more often than not it's more of sharing a drink and swapping stories.
