Hi friends. I'm currently on a career break, taking time to slow down and find my place. Most recently, I worked in corporate finance, among other things. The plan is to embark on a ~2-month exploratory trip of New Zealand and see if it's a good fit for longer term. I plan to start my venture in early September 2025. My tentative plan is to stay in Auckland roughly 4-5 weeks, 1 week in Wellington and the remaining time wherever feels right, but this may change. I'm not super into hostels at this time, as historically I've found them a bit touristy and less cleanly than I prefer. Because this is a trip to see if NZ is for me, I'd prefer to stay with locals, camp or hotels/ lodges. Would love to connect and stay with those who would like to be a part of this journey of mine!

Interests

I am slowly learning to lean into creative expression. I've fallen in love with improv, and I'm open to most things that categorically may fall under the arts and theatre umbrella. I also love being in nature and moving my body around. These days I lean towards more joint friendly activities such as hiking, biking, walking, pilates, swimming. I'm sure there are other activities I may like but simply don't know what they are! Share with me your favorite hobbies!
