Hitchiking from England to South America by land and sea
I've been told I'm outgoing, a natural conversationalist, and have a positive outlook on life.
Left Libertarian fighting for a better world.
âÃâ¬ÃÅNever doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.âÃâ¬Ã (Margaret Mead)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Couchsurfing in South America. Will try and host as much as possible when I get back.
Stayed with some lovely Polish ladies in Cadiz, Spain.
Stayed with a kind local man in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Dancing, chilling, walking, eating, meeting new people, seeing amazing places, thrill seeking, finding out about different cultures and political landscapes.
Music, Movies, and Books
So many to name... Brazil, Fight Club, Garden State, Snatch, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, A Beautiful Mind, Amelie, Anchorman, City of God, all Michael Moore documentaries, Mulholland Drive... love watching films!
Will listen to pretty much anything other than minimal techno which I find really boring. Play mainly Beirut, Bonobo, Kings of Leon, the Kooks, MGMT, the Klaxons, Cinematic Orchestra, Zero 7, James Brown, Dinah Washington, Louis Armstrong, High Contrast, Bob Marley, Carlos Vives, Jose Gonzalez, Mr Scruff, Chinese Man...
Trainspotting, A Clockwork Orange, The Shock Doctrine, all of Mark Thomas' books, The War of Don Emmanuel's Nether Parts, Harry Potter, His Dark Materials Series...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bungee jumping at Victoria Falls (between Zambia and Zimbabwe).
Protesting in London with half a million people against the government cuts.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English, Spanish, macrame.
Want to learn and share whatever others have to offer.
