About Me
You know I'm really French because my name literally translates to almond croissant 🥐
I’m from Southern France and moved to Montreal about five years ago. I'm in a glass program (I'm a baby glassblower, which means I'm usually covered in burns, fresh plaster and other various fun stuff)!
Miscellaneous interests include getting my hands dirty, making collages from old National Geographic, going on hikes with my super 8 camera, listening to other people's life stories, biking around the city and playing corny songs on my guitar. I also love to make overly fancy meals for me and my friends while listening to Chet Baker, Nina
Simone or Bill Withers; to me, cooking is both a love language *and* a way to unwind.
During the winter, there's nothing I'd rather be doing than burning my hands with an extra hot cup of tea and/or crocheting while I look at the snow from my window. But once spring is here, all I want to do is to be outside and dance and travel (yes, all three at the same time!) I stay in Montreal until the lilac season is over: then I know it's time for me to leave.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and exploring new places.
The expression "everyone you meet knows something you don't" is something I live by, and I strive to learn from as wide a range of the sociogeographic spectrum as possible. Teach me about your culture, your politics and your passions :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to discover new music; send me your playlist and I'll send you mine! The 80s will feature heavily on my end.
I'm a voracious reader. A recent favorite is The Broken Earth trilogy by N. K. Jemisin, a feminist science fiction series set in a dystopic post-apocalyptic landscape featuring strong female protagonists and riveting prose 📚
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a pretty decent cook (well, an amazing one if you listen to my friends): I know everyone says to be one on Couchsurfing, but I swear I am! Which means I can make you delicious meals. I also really take pride in my crêpes-making (as any French person does), so there is simply no way I'm leaving your house without teaching you how to make them and flip them.
I love talking about similarities and differences between languages (I looooove sharing new expressions - teach me some of your favorites and I'll do the same!)
