ABOUT ME

Impovrished uni student being dragged down by student debts and bills etc, but I still hope to visit all the continents before I finish my degree.

I am a friendly, open minded person who is a bit of a social animal, ie. if I am left alone for a couple of days I tend to go crazy. Im not very organised - trying to work on this, but have quite a bit of street smart and have been told I am a pretty good cook :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life needs to be lived to the fullest, and everything needs to be tried at least once. I am very much a yes man, and find that there is no point in denying yourself the many wonders that this world has to offer us

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently backpacking through Canada, and having a great time. Hoping to make new friends with global citizens everywhere through this platform. Plan to be a host once I return home to Australia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Fairly new to this but am looking forward to couchsurfing as I havent done it yet.

I hope to have this full of exciting things over the coming years.

Interessi

I am big on being outdoors so activities like bushwalking, hiking, skiing, rock climbing etc really attract me. Winter sports and water sports I find very hard to resist, but just about anything outdoors related will get my vote.

I am a strict follower of Isobelle Carmody and her books, (have read most of them), The Obernewtyn Chronicles and the Dark song saga has me in its grips.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

One family trip to Mt. Kenya where we walked back from the main house where we had dinner to our cabin and it was pitch black and took us half an hour to walk the 200m. When we got frustrated at trying to grope our way around we looked up to see that the entire night sky was cluttered with stars. It is the most vivid memory I have and hope again to one day revisit the place.

Being so young and inexperienced I dont really know what I can offer in exchange, all I can think of is food. I know for a fact that I can introduce people into the world of indian cooking :D

Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa

I will be able to offer the same hospitality that I have been offered if the host was ever to visit Australia, or whatever country I am living in that time.
