ABOUT ME

Well, I'm actually a German and English teacher near Bremen, Germany. My husband and I live in a small town called Platjenwerbe.
I'm a Christian. I'm an extroverted and happy person who is open minded, honest, faithful and caring. At least that is what my friends say about me. I'm very interested in different cultures and people and I love involving people in new groups and make them feel welcome.

PHILOSOPHY

"Do as you would be done by". I try to love people the way they are, be honest and caring to do my part in making a better world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I stayed with one couple in Australia, Thailand and Laos and went on a trip with some couchsurfer from Jakarta. I also met some couchsurfers in Jakarta for different events. Every time I travel, I ask couchsurfers to get some inside tips at my destination.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I loved the couple I stayed with in Australia, Laos and Thailand. They were so kind and showed me around their town. It's very helpful to get insider tips from couchsurfing members for my travel destinations. Once I hooked up with some other couchsurfers and we went travelling together to the Thousand Islands in Indonesia which was so much more fun than travelling all by yourself.

Travelling, reading, going to the movies, swimming, aqua fitness, meeting friends. Especially hanging out with people I like no matter where I am.

I don't really listen to music, but I like all different kinds. I'm also not really into one movie or book. For reading and movies I like comedies, thrillers and drama.

So many! Hiking in the jungle of Northern Sumatra (Indonesia) where an orang utan bit into my finger, Hiking up Mt. Ijen in Indonesia and many more... :-)
