ABOUT ME

Soooo I just graduated from UCSD with...wait for it...a THEATRE degree. So my life at the moment consists of living in a cardboard box at the side of the street begging for the remnants of your vegetarian Chipotle burrito bowl and showering in the sink of the Mobile gas station inbetween bouts of strip poker with the local hobos that have now become my family.

Well...not really. BUT I did make friends with a homeless man the other day in PB and after talking with him for a while he offered me my choice of a smoke, a shot of vodka...or free repair on all my home appliances. Yep...I know you're jealous ;)

Anywho, the real story is that after graduating I moved from La Jolla to Crown Point area of PB and am currently bartending and working as a kayak tour guide while I finish taking my Teaching English as a Foreign Language course. Come January I hope to have found a job abroad in Europe teaching English or working for a theatre program teaching kids english through acting, playwrighting, directing and costume designing. I studied abroad in England my sophomore year and in Australia last year and its safe to say that I love change, can't stay in one place for toooo long and am always looking for a new adventure. I plan on living abroad until well...I find the place/country/person/job that ties me to a particular place for an indefinite matter of time.

Costume designing/screenwriting was my emphasis so I hope to end up doing something along those lines in the future. I used to be a visual arts major so writing and illustrating childrens' books is also something I've dabbled in...I'm just an artsy fartsy geeky girl :)

Also...I used to drive a mini-van nicknamed "The Rapist Van." It was one of those heinous ones that had the fake wood paneling on the sides. Sexy...I know. Thank god I now drive a MUCH COOLER min-van. Don't ask...haha. Oh! And another random tid-bit about me: I totally want to go to Hogwarts. Aaaand I'm a huge nerd (see previous statement).
