Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
To find people in Amsterdam to hang with this Queen's Day 2010, also, to welcome couch surfers to Philly area
ABOUT ME
I'm female. 40 years old (but very immature for my age).
Some words that describe me: verbal, energetic, funny, chipper, hygienic, bad at directions & math, kind of a wise ass, liberal, generous, subversive, curious, sarcastic, nurturing, experimental, courageous, well-read(ish), moderately educated, generally sane.
PHILOSOPHY
Comfort zones, schmomfort zones.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would like to meet up with other CS'rs when I travel -- am not necessarily looking to surf on anyone's couch yet, I'm just at the exploring stage with this community. Just found out about it from a Lonely Planet post, so I'm psyched to learn more & meet some other people engaged in this project.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet! However, I am open to all possibilities.
Right now, I am living in West Chester, PA (USA) with my sister. We're about a 30-minute drive to Philadelphia, and the local area has many historic sites and interesting things to see & do.
We have two rooms to offer. A large room with separate entrance that has a big couch & double bed, plus a smaller bedroom upstairs with a twin bed.
Intereses
I'm all about local, low-key travel -- especially using regional food and drink as a way to get to know different cultures and traditions. I particularly love street foods and block parties, and also outdoor activities that bring people from various walks of life together.
Other interests, in no particular order: animals, history, nature, yoga.

Algo increíble que he hecho
I dunno. Sometimes, just people-watching on the street, when the weather is right: that can be really amazing.
Or one of those really great nights where you run into cool random people at a bar or festival or somewhere there's alcohol/chemical enhancement, and everyone's laughing & drinking & running around the place, getting into harmless trouble... and this goes on until the sun comes up. That's good stuff, right?
You can't make a night like that happen, but it's amazing when it does. I think travel's about being open to to all kinds of experiences, and keeping an optimistic outlook, always.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I can teach yoga and also I love to learn about foods/drink/cooking/culture.
