About Me

The goal is to enjoy this wild ride as much as possible.

I was born and raised in New Zealand but the travel bug got me good and I'm keen for some more adventures.

I'm moving to Australia in May with the goal of working for six months before coming home to have Christmas in the Bay of Islands.

My (rough) plan is to save enough in Aussie to fund my year or two long stint around Europe in 2016.

I'm also trying to become a full time travel blogger.

Yeeeeah hoooo!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet some exciting new characters, share some stories and have a laugh. Will provide good chat in exchange for a couch to sleep on for a night or two.

Interests

Writing, exploring, napping, going out for coffee, drinking wine, travelling, and watching Modern Family.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I won a trip that sent me around the world* to under-go different work experiences to see first hand what the world of "work" was really like. When I say "work" I mean I got to spend days lying in the sun on a beach in a 5-star resort in the south of Athens and shopping in LA. I had the absolute time of my life and I've been itching to get back out there ever since.

Teach, Learn, Share

I worked as an English tutor for two and half years on-and-off and it's no lie that teaching, telling stories, inspiring people and imparting knowledge is one of the greatest things there is. We never stop learning but I guess the beauty of travel is that your classroom can be anything from a rainforest to a temple.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Canada, England, Greece, Malaysia, Singapore, United States
