Overview
About Me
My nomadic spirit keeps me wandering. I explore different places to experience culture, and my favorite journeys involve wandering by foot and sampling the local food, craft beer, and creative selections, like music, art, spoken word, theatre and film.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best part of traveling for me is building relationships with locals. I'm not interested in the basic tourist routes, and look to locals for insider recommendations.

Music, Movies, and Books
My interest in film is expansive, and I'm the type who likes to watch the sort of flicks I studied in film class. Most interested in drama, comedy, dramedy, thriller, and adventure. Less interested in gross-out horror and musicals.
I gravitate towards creative nonfiction, in both essay and book formats. Zen & The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance (Robert Pirsig) is one I like to travel with.
My ear is pretty open to a variety of music. Fave Spotify playlists include: Wild + Free, Acoustic [insert season here], and Coffeehouse Blends. I'm interested in exploring more folk music.
