Hi! I'm Amber, and I'm from Canada. I'm living abroad in Leeds, England for the year currently, to study. I've always been interested in travelling, and meeting people from around the world who have stories and experiences to share. I'm studying sociology, so how different cultures work and interact with each other is interesting to me. Although I currently haven't travelled much, I know I will in the furture, and having connections to people and places is a great opportunity!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

My three friends and I are planning to travel Europe this summer, and being students, an afforable way to get some sleep is a must. Couchsurfing seemed like a great idea for those countries where none of us have friends, and definately don't speak the language. To have someone that can help us along a bit would be great!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Something amazing I've done is get the courage to leave home and study abroad. I may not have had the money for it, or thought it through too much, but I'm so glad I did! I know England and Canada aren't super different, but this is just the beginning of a long journey of travel and new experiences for me.
