I'm from a small town in Maryland and have been living in DC for about four years now. I work in international development, and I enjoy playing guitar, writing music, hiking, and reading in my free time. Oh yeah, and traveling :D

I really enjoy meeting people from all over, and I like to travel knowing some locals. I have met some of the most amazing, inspiring people through Couchsurfing, and think it takes a special person to open up their home out of kindness to a stranger. I hope to have my own space to share soon :) But for now, I'm happy to show any DC visitors around on the weekends.
