我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went out kitesurfing one afternoon, it was the first time I had gone out far on my own.. I went so far out that I couldn't see the beach that I had left from.. the sun was going down on my left and on my right a full moon was rising.. out there on the reef the water is glassy green and rolling in huge waves.. behind the reef is the great unknown.. I was already far far out of my comfort zone,, the feeling of going over deep water in a new area, scary and thrilling at the same time.. but the water was so beautiful out there, the waves were breaking in perfect barrels, and the sky a dusky pink.
I caught wave after wave, the exquisiteness of the evening lasting long after I came safely back to shore.. I talked about it for months.
