One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Landing in San Juan, Costa Rica and realizing that the people there were living their own lives speaking a different language not caring what the U.S. did or thought. I felt very small in the big world we live in.
2. Getting into graduate school in Leiden, Netherlands. The start of my overseas travels to Europe.
