Firstly, I don't know why it says I've got a 0% response rate, as I hosted loads of people when I lived in Korea :-s You can see some in my references, sadly only a small percentage of them left references.
When I lived in Saudi the only requests I got were from proper dodgy looking Saudi guys who already lived in the area and probably wouldn't agree with my lifestyle, as somebody who usually had booze in the house in a country where it's a criminal offence with SERIOUSLY harsh punishments. I did make a lot of cool friends from many countries in Saudi through couchsurfing meet up groups and parties though. Nobody has actually requested to stay with me since I've lived in China, as my town is lame and there's nothing here, but I'd be happy to host if somebody asked. I'm moving to central Shanghai in September though, so will most likely have the requests rolling in from then, and will host as much as I can :-)
I am renowned for being a very strange girl with far too much to say for myself, but if you don't like me then don't talk to me is all i have to say on that, life is too short for games and bullshit. I'm confidant, not overly, not arrogant, I just know who I am and love it, everyone should, it's the key to happiness, as the one thing in your life that is a constant is yourself. I am currently working as an English teacher in China, but in the past I've lived and worked in South Korea and Saudi Arabia also. If you want to surf at my place then you must be ok with dogs, I have two. They are only little and very friendly and housebroken, but I understand some people just don't like them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I live alone in a two bedroom apartment (but one room has no bed) in Qidong, Nantong, my lounge has a comfy couch.. The floor space is endless.
I'm quite an experienced hoster now, I've hosted people from all over the world and they have always been very happy. I've made lots of friends on couchsurfing from the meet up and event groups, but never actually stayed with anybody myself yet.
Walking my dogs, dancing...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not ONE! That's not fair!
Visit Angkor Wat. Safari in Kenya and saw wild lions, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, about a million zebras and antelopes, and heaps more. Ha Long Bay cruise in Vetnam. Motorbike around the mountains and endless tea plantations in Sri Lanka. Swim in luminous waters in the middle of the night at Koh Rong, Camboda. Had afternoon tea and wine at the top of the Burj Khalifa (tallest building in the world), Dubai. Driven a car in the desert of Saudi Arabia (Never had a lesson and it's illegal for women to drive in Saudi). Rave on a secluded island...somewhere in Cambodia. Rave in an abandoned mental institution....somewhere in London. Rave in a HUGE underground WWII military bunker....somewhere in Manchester. Camped， danced and drank for 4-5 days at many rock festivals. Jump from a waterfall in Laos. Hug and kiss a giraffe. Play with a lion. Visit an elephant orphanage in Kenya. Road trip up the coast of California. See pods of wild dolphins off the coast of Wales and California. See hundreds of wild elephant seals sunning themselves on a California beach. Raised two dogs I rescued from a meat market in S Korea. Fall in and out of love more times than I can count.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share endless crazy stories about my shenanigans and just insane situations I've found myself in....maybe you'll even get into one with me! Haha!
