ABOUT ME

I was born in Cape Town, South Africa and have lived there all my life.
When I was seven I spent a year in the United States (Maryland) when my dad went on sabbatical. I cannot remember much of this trip, except the smell of the malls and the sight of the Empire State building. :D. I love traveling, especially going on the road throughout Africa. Currently I find myself once more in the U.S., studying abroad at Columbia University/Barnard College. New York City is a great place to live and learn and it is here that I have nurtured a true love for travel and travelers. Coming from vibrant and cosmopolitan Cape Town, I feel a special connection to the great diversity the world has to offer!
