I’m Amber, 24 years old and currently taking some time to enjoy my time in between studies and a job. In Spanish you could call me a NiNi (not studying and not working). I have a background in social science, as I am very interested in people and society.

I would love to travel in a different way, getting to know the culture and way of life in different countries in stead of just visiting ‘highlights’. I hope to meet some nice people through this platform and have a nice cultural exchange!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Spanish music, from flamenco to regaeton! The books I read are usually connected to my interest in people/ society. For example, biographies of politicians, feminist books and books about societal issues.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year I have walked the Santiago the Compostela! It was the most amazing experience, focusing on living in the moment, enjoying nature and meeting wonderful people. This really showed me again what is important in life by going back to the core.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn languages and help others learn! I speak Dutch, English and Spanish (still want to improve). Also I have some knowledge of French, German and Darija.

Besides I love to talk about culture, society, politics but also personal topics and life stories!
