ABOUT ME

I'm 23 years old, and an American living in France. I graduated from Indiana University with majors in French and psychology. I've lived in France 3 times (Brest in high school, Aix en Provence in college, and Nimes currently). I have an adorable Boston terrier named Darby who I try to take with me everywhere (no trips to the UK, sadly). We have a secret mission up our sleeves, and this is the test year. I love to travel to new and different places, and I love to meet new people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I only recently discovered couch surfing through a friend. I am currently living in a 28m2 studio, and, though I love the idea, I have reservations about offering up my spare matelas to strangers. I would open up to the idea if there were correspondence, but I'd definitely be willing to host back upon my return to the U.S. and the obtention of an apartment with more than one room and a bathroom door that didn't pop open periodically. BUT I would love to meet people coming to Nimes for coffee, a drink, or dinner, as well as to meet people LIVING in Nimes who are similar minded... maybe we could couch surf together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never done it! I'd love to try, but the dog can be an obstacle!

TRAVEL, my wonderful dog, experiencing new things, nights out, food culture (I LOVE to cook and go to restaurants... years of working in food service have made me appreciate good meals with good friends), language learning, music (live and recorded), theatre, reading, etc.
