Curious, excited and inquisitive about the world and all it has to offer. A big advocate for the saying "you only live once!"
Born in Scotland and moved to Perth Australia at the age of 11 - since then I have had constant conflict in my mind of where I belong in the world. I want to explore the world, learn different languages, experience different cultures and find where my heart belongs on this planet.... Maybe its not just one place?

In 2016, along with my partner in crime, we sold all of our belongings & moved out of our home in an effort to save money before embarking on a one-way adventure to Europe. We left with no plan, and after 357 days we returned to Perth Australia having accomplished the following:

1 x Contiki trip
16 x Plane rides
12 x Train rides
1 x Eurostar experience
15 x Countries
23 x Cities
4 x Jobs (collectively)
1 x 6 Month Lease in London

We learned so much about people, the world, each other & ourselves. Nothing could have prepared us for how challenging it would be but there are no regrets and i'd definitely recommend jumping out of your comfort zone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling on a budget and willing to sacrifice the luxuries of hotel accommodation in order to expand our knowledge and gain more real-life experiences. I want to immerse myself in the culture of other peoples way of living, and what better way than to join them in their home? I'm on couch surfing to meet lots of new friends and experience different parts of the world like the locals do!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: edm, trap, bass, hardstyle, pop, but pretty much EVERYTHING
Movies: Documentaries, comedies, rom-coms, psychological movies. A few favourites off the top of my head are 'Catch me if you can', 'The Dark Knight', and 'Black Swan'. In regards to tv shows, obviously I love FRIENDS; Scrubs is also one of the best tv sitcoms ever made. And I just finished all 4 seasons of Orange is the new black on Netflix. Intense.
Books: Autobiographies, Non-Fiction, I always have my nose in a book and the library is one of my favourite places to be.
