ABOUT ME

from january to may of 2009 i studied abroad in rome, italy with my boyfriend, john, and his brother, josh. the experiences i had changed my life in ways i never thought possible. the world truely is a great big place just ready to be discovered. we met great people and saw wonderful, beautiful things. couchsurfing allowed me to further enjoy the experience and gives me hope that the years of traveling i dream about are a strong possibility.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

johnny, josh, and i couchsurfed our way through a 3 week 'euro trip' and could not have imagined how great the oppurtunity would be! i had a great time learning from the many friends we met through the couchsurfing community. i hope to meet many more in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have (along with my roommates in rome) hosted twice. both times were absolutely wonderful and i gained great friends from their stays. it's so interesting learning about another person's history and culture!

Intereses

i enjoy outdoor activities (swimming, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, etc.), reading, listening and learning about others, cooking, traveling, relaxing (when i can find the time), spending time with friendly people, chocolate, puppies, pilates, and helping others.

Algo increíble que he hecho

i have witnessed friendships grow between people who can barely speak a common language. i have seen portugese beaches that could make you smile for days. i have watched my younger siblings grow into caring and inspiring individuals. i could go on but i'll spare you... i'm very happy with my life :)
