我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love my city and I have spent alot of time in the past couple years showing people around so why not continue with people who genuinely want to see all that Vic has to offer! I live with room mates so before anyone can come stay on a couch they have to be ok with it, but I am open to showing people around and introducing people to my awesome city when I'm not busy.
Two of my best friends and I are looking at a trip somewhere in South America and I think this is a great way to get to see it the way the locals do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never been a part of this couch surfing community but I think I follow the essence of it ;)
A friend asked me if I could put up one of his friends for a while, ended up with a roomie for a month that I'd never met before she moved in.
I've worked at summer camps so I've had friends and acquaintances call me up and ask me if I can put up their friend I've never met, and I'm more than glad too, you learn so much from those random encounters.

My favorite band is Anberlin, slightly edgy but fun, Amazing live!
Currently I'm loving folk-y/alternative type music, like Mumford and Sons, Florence and the Machine, etc.
I'm reading through the classics right now, but I am a firm believer that there's nothing better than a well written kids classic (Narnia, most Gordon Korman's).
