I like to read and learn new things all the time! I have a good sense of humor and I'm excited to learn about all the countries I am visiting. I'm tidy and quiet, but I also enjoy sharing a beer and good conversation. I studied abroad in Spain two years ago, and now I am back in Europe to help my friend move to Ireland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm Couchsurfing because I don't want to hurry and travel through a place like a tourist. I wish to take my time and really experience each place I visit and make new friends.

Interests

At home I enjoy spending time outside and gardening. While traveling, I enjoy visiting museums and learning about the culture of the city I am in. I love to cook and I'm always looking for new recipes to try. It's important to me to have new experiences, meet new people, and challenge myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to many types of music, but I especially like 70's rock. Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, etc. are the artists I listen to the most. I enjoy watching all types of movies. I read a lot of travel memoirs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In August 2015, I took a three week road trip from Missoula, Montana to New York City, New York. My friend and I traveled more than 7,670 km in a very small car.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am slowly learning the piano and would appreciate any lessons! I would love for hosts to share recipes. I am also learning Spanish and would appreciate anyone that can have a conversation with me.
