ABOUT ME

I am an eternal student who loves to travel more than anything else. If I could go to school for the rest of my life, I totally would. There's something about learning that I can't seem to get enough of. And please believe me when I say learning certainly does not take place just in a classroom.
I've taken my own path in my 20s and most of it has been spent traveling and working with non-profits. I'm very easy-going and love to laugh and try to be a good person. I'm quirky and silly. I love to read and am very modest about my Spanish. I've been speaking since I was 11, but you would never know it. I used to have hot pink hair and piercings, but as I've gotten a little bit older, I've tried to calm down even though I am fuschia on the inside. Haha.

PHILOSOPHY

Live is worth living. I've never been one to sit idly by, so whether it be just spending the day out and about in the city or hopping on a plane to go somewhere, I feel it's my duty to be involved in this world at every moment. I try to keep involved on what's going on in the world and to stimulate my mind on a daily basis through reading, writing, and learning. I am a chatterbox and I think that's why I've always gotten along with people. I would rather have an intellectual conversation with a stranger than to deal with small talk. I'm all about getting to know people. It's all about what we learn in this life that helps make us who we are.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Aside from visiting friends who have let me crash on their couches or floors, or friends who have come and stayed with me, I have never really officially CouchSurfed.

Interests

Photography, travel, good music, red wine, volunteering, surfing, the Bar Method, cheesy tv (namely reality tv), curling up with a good book, live music, laughing, making new friends, watching/seeing movies, tennis, eBay, driving, and I would definitely say sleeping.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm going to have to go with stepping foot on Antarctica. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that would be something I could do. And I did it. So beyond words.
