I am on couchsurfing because it is so much more fun to meet people in different places, than to stay by yourself in a rented room.

Visiting a remote monastery on a tiny island in far northern Russia, where the sun never sets in summer... Walking far out onto the Caspian Sea on islands of pink salt... Watching a mama lion eating a baby rhino with her lion cub in the wild... Watching the fog roll in to the San Francisco Bay...
