Hi friends! My name is Ambra, I am a Masters Students moving from Australia to Germany and aiming to travel in between my study semesters ... hopefully!
Because I will be on a time restriction I am looking to gain as much local knowledge about the cities I visit as possible, and the best way to do this is to meet the locals that live there and know them best!!!!

I am a young, energetic and confident person and this really transfers to my travel style. I love finding quaint cafes, hidden bars, small, boutique shops, the hidden gems of a city that no Lonely Planet guide can EVER show you.
Meeting new people and exchanging stories is a passion of mine and something that adds so much joy and excitement to every trip I go on. If you love travelling and new adventures as much as me, then lets meet up and experience it all together!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've recently discovered this AMAZING platform and love to connect with interesting people from across the world! I love sharing my travel stories (both good and bad :)) and hearing other people's experiences in different cities I have been to or even those where I haven't.

I am looking to meet and stay with fun and friendly hosts who love good chats and lots of wine!!! and who can make my stay just that little bit more authentic!

My goal is to be hosting other travellers in the future to give back to this fantastic platform and hopefully to make some lifelong friends with people that I meet throughout my travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really loving Indie Pop at the moment and bands like Mansionair, Safia, Tash Sultana, Cosmos Midnight, Cub Sport and Holy Holy. Some international bands I'm also loving are The Wombats, The 1975, Chvrches, Broods and of course some Rufus Du Sol!
Can't go past some great hip hop (Seth Sentry, Urthboy, Illy) and always love some old style rock!

I'm currently reading a Jane Austen classic but I am also loving crime novels and mystery novels. I find that reading really allows me to relax after a long day and just chill out completely from the world!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago now I spent 3 weeks hiking in New Zealand with a group of friends which was an incredible experience.
I was lucky enough to get to hike on and stay one night on Fox Glacier in the South Island. I got to experience the sunset and sunrise from the glacier and climb to the top of Mount Cook! Such an unforgetable experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

With that being said I am always looking for new adventures to add to this repertoire and would love to share them with my hosts and other travellers that I meet along the way!

Teach, Learn, Share

Cooking is one of my many passions so it would be awesome if I could share some of my cooking skills with my hosts! I love vegan food and have been vegan for the past year so if you can tell me where the best vegan cafes are in your city then I will love you forever :))))
Not a vegan? No trouble, I don't judge anyone based on what they eat so I would love to hear your favourite places to eat too!

I am keen to learn as much about all the cities I visit as possible and that starts with the local language. So PLEAE TEACH ME!! I am more than ready to learn the language (even just the bacics) and the amazing customs of everwhere I go .

Wine, wine and more wine! And definitely some crazy stories and lots of laughs. I am an easy going person that just loves human connection and interaction.
