ABOUT ME

I am a somewhat quiet person with a wide range of interests. I ponder about life and its meaning quite often. Right now I'm just trying to discover and learn about myself as much as possible.

I enjoy all types of music, though I have a bias towards classic rock and blues, and more recently indian classical music. I like making music and have been trying to fuse indian classical with a blues playing style. It's not turned out very well so far :|

I love travelling and think that it is a great way to discover yourself and other human beings.

Discover. Learn all you can and seek your fulfillment. Relish pain and fear as much as you would relish pleasure and excitement - and use them both to complete your experience.

I've just started out with couch surfing. Already had the good fortune of hosting a member, and now I'm eager to explore more people and their couches :)

My roommate recently hosted a surfer at our place. It was fun and a great experience!

Interessen

I'm interested in a lot of things - technology, cooking, music, the human mind and body, human connections, spirituality, nature, how the universe works... I'm pretty fascinated by the world we live in and love learning new stuff about it. I love science, physics, relativity and everything that tells us what the universe is, and it is a passing hobby of mine to cook up theories that try to explain the phenomenon consciousness and life as logical and active part of this universe. Also - music - it's food for the soul.

I once saw Saturn, the planet - replete with rings and all - through a backyard telescope a friend of mine had made - it totally blew mind.

The right song/music playing at the right time can sometimes touch a note so deep inside you that you didn't even know existed - that is pretty fascinating.

There's a place called Ladakh squirreled away in the Himalayas in India. It is a pocket of barren mountains, deserts and rivers trapped between giant sow capped peaks - and is one of the most beautiful places I have visited in my life.
