About Me
Living in Sweden at the moment, but will be back in San Francisco in August.
I believe that travel is the best form of education. I do not think I'd be the same person I was a year ago if I didn't start taking the opportunities to travel and get out there. I find it is difficult to leave the comfort zone, but once you're there it is like opening your eyes to something new and incredible and you suddenly crave more knowledge of the strange and wonderful world you are discovering.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and meet people. I think couchsurfing is a great place to connect with people from all over the world. What's better than gaining new perspectives and sharing with those around the world?
Interests
I love to hula hoop dance! Super fun and I usually bring my hoops with me when traveling, so if we ever meet we can have some fun and play with hula hoops!
I'm very active whether it's hiking, swimming, surfing, or playing some basketball or frisbee I am down! It's just nice to get outside.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I find it quite fun to hear everyone's jams and what makes them feel. My friends make fun of me for making mix CDs and giving them to people, but it's too much fun and I will not stop. I love everything from punk to the classics, the blues to the grooves, and the psychedelic to the metal.
Favorite book: The Alchemist
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Left my home and everything I knew to live in another country for a year. It was a big step for me, as I hadn't traveled too much before. I think it was the step I needed at this point in the journey of life.
Teach, Learn, Share
The word teach makes me think of what I want to do in life. I want to work with youth and contribute to the youngsters of society. I go to school for general teaching and special education, but am not quite sure where this world will take me. Maybe I'll teach in some other countries working with varieties of age levels and people. Who knows, but I'm excited to see where it goes and what I can learn along the way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook, kind of. I love trying new recipes so maybe we can try one together if you're brave!
