Overview
About Me
Hi, my name is Amelia. Southeast Asian girl but currently living in Germany as Azubi. I do Ausbildung/training as Heilerziehungspflegerin. It’s a professional training in Germany to become a caregiver and educator for people with physical or mental disabilities. It’s a mix of healthcare, social work, and pedagogy. It’s interesting job.
Since I live in Germany, I travel a lot. Living in Europe is a privilege for me, so I can travel more often than in Indonesia. Because we can reach many places and countries only by train or car. I remember there was a summer pass for 9€/month in Germany during my first year living here. Since then, I've traveled frequently and explored German cities.
I enjoy meeting people from other countries because it allows me to practice my English, which I often forget and mix with German. :) because English isn't my native language.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet people from different countries and cultures. I don’t really like luxury life, that’s why I always go for backpacking. This App helps me to find my happiness. I love to collect memories, so I can share it with everyone I meet 😂
