Hello couch-surfing community! My name is Amelia, and I'm from the beautiful town of Nelson, BC, Canada. I am currently completing my Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa, in Ottawa, Canada. I also work as a research assistant in the field of women's reproductive health.

I am currently doing a 3 month trip through central/eastern/Southern Europe before returning to Canada to complete my studies in the fall.

I love traveling and exploring new countries and cultures, and meeting new people along the way! I have always loved the outdoors, and spend lots of my free time exploring in nature. I love to rock climb, ski, hike, and do yoga! I also love art, photography, dancing and cooking.

I speak English and French fluently, and am eager to learn more languages!

I signed up for couch-surfing because I am traveling through Europe this summer for three months and would love to stay with local hosts throughout my travels. I am eager to share about my home country and city, and can give lots of travel and exploration tips for the Nelson, BC, and Ottawa, Ontario areas! I can provide insight into outdoors activities in these areas among other things. I can also give travel and living tips for Switzerland, because I studied there for 5 months this spring.
