We have given up our jobs to travel the world and explore our love of culture, food and gin!

We are both interested in and have previously worked in creative industries (writing, marketing, events and web design) but have given up the daily grind to explore the world. We occasionally do a little bit of freelance work online, so if you see us clicking away on our laptops, we’re not just addicted to Facebook!

Our most memorable experiences on the trip so far have been those that we have shared with locals from Couchsurfing or that we have just made friends with in our travels. We have had the opportunity to meet so many people from different backgrounds and we have learnt and opened ourselves up to so many new things - Daniel even found himself on a yoga mat!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are currently exploring the world, India and South East Asia through to South America. So far, we have found that our greatest and most memorable experiences have been with locals as they are able to show us the ‘real’ side of a place rather than us just getting stuck in the tourist traps!
