About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world!!
ABOUT ME
I like to laugh and go on adventures! To elaborate, I really enjoy getting to know people and learning about how they view life! I worked with foreign exchange students at the University of Kansas, where I just graduated college, and it was by far my favorite job. Every day, not only did I make money, but I learned first hand about so many cultures around the world from Brazilian to Saudi Arabian. Now that I'm done with college I'm off to teach English in France and travel as much as can during my breaks! This way I can continue learning from the billions of people who inhabit the world!
PHILOSOPHY
To make choices in life based on what makes me happy. I help and care for others, travel, work for what I want, and spread as much positivity as possible because it makes me and subsequently others happy!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests
Learning languages is probably my number 1! I am not a polyglot but I love hearing others speak languages I don't know and learning even just a few phrases. Currently I speak French and English but one day I would love to have a base knowledge of at least 3. I love to sing, dance, and laugh whenever possible. I will partake in any activity that gives an adrenaline rush. I am very active and enjoy soccer the most! However, when on my own I like to go running outside or go to the gym. I love the feeling of helping others which goes hand-in-hand with my major and future career in Speech-Language Pathology. Overall, I'm up for almost anything and will have a fun time doing it!

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Trilogy, The Giver (i'm not sure how I feel about the movie coming out...).
Music: Metric, Regina Spektor, Lily Allen, Camélia Jordana, and anything with a great beat I can sing to
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While studying Speech Pathology during my undergraduate career I had the opportunity to work with clients who had intellectual and speech disorders. The achievements through perseverance I saw some clients make was amazing and it truly makes me realize how much humans can do by themselves and with the help of others!
The most amazing sight I've seen was the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. Walking up to the cliff and seeing how beautiful and peaceful a place can be will forever be in my memory of favorite moments.
And finally, I saved 500 people on a train destined for a cliff. Through the blinding snow and wind I shuffled across the inch platform on the outside of the train to the front where I rewired the train and all were saved!...just kidding, I've only traveled a lot.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help others open their mind to see an opposing point of view to an argument and realize there isn't just one side to a story. And I know French!
