About Me
I finished school last year, but didn´t know what to study. So I went to Namibia for 3 months and worked in a School Project. Now I use my free time to help refugee children in a Primary School to learn German. In October I will start studying...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and my time in Namibia was the best time of my life. Because of that experience I want to see much more of this beautiful world.
Before I start to study I want to use my free time to travel a bit. My cousin and best friend Lena and me decided we would like to use an Interrail Ticket for one month to see a bit more of Europe. At the end of July our journey will begin. Of course we would like to meet nice people espacially locals so we have the chance to get great experiences not every tourist would get. When I was in Namibia it was really great to know so many locals that showed me around. They made my stay perfect. Having friends in a different country will take me back there as soon and often as possible.
We thought we might be lucky and get to know such wonderful people during our tour. We will travel through France, Spain, Portugal and Italy this summer. So that will be our first time using Couchsurfing and I think after the summer we will continue with surfing and hosting
Interests
Singing and Acting was always one of my biggest Hobbies.
I also like to draw and paint! Above all I love drawing interesting faces.
(Since my time in Namibia) I am also very interested in traveling and learning about different cultures. A Country with as many different ethnic groups as Namibia was fascinating for me. I learned a lot about the Hereros, Owambos, Damaras. It was an honor to be told about their traditions, different perspectives, languages, rules and so on.
Besides, my German lessons offer me the possibility to learn a lot about the different cultures of the children.
When I am with my friends we like to go to clubs and dance. But I also enjoy going to pubs with friends to just talk and enjoy the evening with a few beer ;-)
I'm also in for Sundowners and quiet evenings with atmosphere and good conversation

Music, Movies, and Books
I like many different types of music and movies and it really depends on my current mood and situation which genre or song I want to listen to or which type of movie I want so watch.
But I am that Kind of person that can listen to one special song or watch one good movie a thousand times...
The books I like most are thrillers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My stay in Namibia! I´ve been there for only 3 moths but it is like my second home.
I love the nature: savanna, desert, the ocean...
I love the african animals and seeing them in real life is so amazing.
And I love the people especially the children of the School Project!
This experience also made me feel more independent and mature. I´ve worked a lot in the School Project and had my own class. But I´ve also used the weekends to see more of the country. I was able to do what I wanted to do and I enjoyed every day.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am very interested in meeting new people, to listen to their stories and experiences and also to tell them mine. I think that's a good way to learn from each other and see something out of a new perspektive.
I'd like to share conversation and my time and who knows what else we can share with people we get to know through traveling.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I think I can share stories and hopefully a great time
