I love to travel and get to know new people, hear their stories and have quality conversations.

First time abroad was my exchange year in Oregon, USA and that got me hooked on travelling. After that I spent 6 months as an Au Pair in the Netherlands, started studying tourism management, followed by an ERASMUS in Gijon, an internship in Barcelona and 4,5 years in London. Now I live in Munich but the travel bug bit me and I ventured out for a sabbatical.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed a couple times in The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Italy and it has always been a great experience!
I paused being active on CS for a while as I lived in London and basically hosted a lot of friends and family, keeping me quite busy.

Now I am in Munich and want to get back into the Couchsurfing community ;)

Couchsurfing is such a great way to see a place with a different kind of view, to meet locals and share experiences!

Interests

I love to sing and play the Ukulele.
I regularly join jam sessions and have started recently joining some band projects....let's see where this takes me ;)

Other than that, I love the nature and being active and outside. Munich is perfect for this as the mountains are very close and you can do a lot of things whether it's hiking, cycling or - in winter - skiing.

I recently bough a longboard and love cruising around with it ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very broad interest when it comes to music.
At the moment, I listen to a lot of funk, jazz and oldies but also love to discover new artists on spotify.

I love to read especially thriller or crime books! As I child I read 'The secret garden' over and over again and I still like it as a grown up! Alexander Franz is one of my favorite crime/thriller authors !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Impossible to reduce this section to one thing...
Every place has its beauty and a couple of memorable moment were for me:

Hiking in the Andes, swimming with sea turtles on the Galapagos, going on Safari in Africa (I loooove elephants), trying local food in India without getting ill, caving in Belize...

Roadtrip to the White Sands National Park in Albuquerque! Everywhere just white sand, looks absolutely beautiful!
Amazing was, losing my car key but finding it again in the sand 1h later....

Traveling around in Asturias and discovering bay beaches between the rocks and without any other people.

Up the Rockefeller at dawn/night and seeing whole Manhatten and further.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some songs on the Ukulele, how to make a delicious curry or how to use a sewing machine.
