About Me
Hello, my name is Amen. I am Ethiopian and currently studying Conflict and Development at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London. I am a friendly person but most would say I'm on the quiet side. I like to think i'm both. I love travelling and have done a bit of it in my country, East Africa, China, South East Asia and in Europe. I love exploring new places, meet people and eat all kinds of food.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite book to this day is 'the day after tomorrow'. I read it when I was very young and the ending was mind-blowing for me because, until the very last sentence of the book, I did not know what was gonna happen. Its probably because I was too young for it :)
I have a lot of favourite movies but if I have to pick a few, it would be 'The Godfather' and 'the usual suspects' and '12 angry men'
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, for someone who has one hairstyle for all my life, one amazing thing I feel I did would be shaving my hair. It was scary and exciting at the same time. I was planning to do just one shave but I ended up rocking the hairstyle for a little more than a year :). And now I'm back to my old hair style :)
