Freshly graduated MD/PhD here moving to NYC in June 2023 for residency at Beth Israel.

Personal:
I grew up in Lebanon with a Muslim background but have been agnostic for several years. Moved to the US in 2016 for my studies, and had an easy time settling here and learning more about myself away from my cultural influences. Friendly, caring, and genuine, and very respectful of personal space. I love meeting interesting and kind people from all walks of life.

There is also a lot outside of medicine/science that I enjoy: board games with friends, nature walks, photography (recently drones), travel, soccer, and working out. Once done with residency I'll probably move to the countryside to live on a small lakehouse and learn how to fly a Cessna.

Music: I can safely assume I have a form dementia when it comes to lyrics, but I enjoy listening to a broad range including country, classical, soul, and RandB, and the occasional pop and trance... instrumental music can be quite powerful too.
