We are Ameyalli (Yali) and Reymundo(Rey) and we are a music loving couple living in Southern California. We are both spontaneous, enjoy food, and great conversations. We both believe that there is something better out there than the routine lifestyle that we get lost in. We love attending music festivals and dancing but at the same time we love staying in to enjoy a glass of wine and a good movie. We also both believe that life is made of experiences rather than materialistic things one can own. Making great memories is what keeps us going through the hard times. We would like to make great memories along this journey.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

To live out a dream .. We've always wanted to travel or just escape and see something out of the normal. We have always thought traveling would cost us an arm and a leg and backed off the idea of one day traveling . We started some research about backpacking across the US on a small budget and then we ran into Couchsurfing. Now getting away can become a reality and to get to know the rest of this beautiful planet , the people , and the culture . Our escape from the stress of the 9-5 life has been music until a couple of months ago. It all started with a simple conversation of adventures that we wanted to fulfill. Finding a soulmate who shares the same dream of leaving everything and "live" a dream is quite priceless! So here we are as newbies on Couchsurfing trying to make this adventure possible with the help of people with different stories who we hope might share the same path. We enjoy what we do and have worked hard to sustain but the curiosity of knowing that there is so many people to meet, many places to explore, sunsets & sunrises to see is what brings us to plan this "getaway". In reality it would take us many years to explore the cities we want to visit during this trip but we're deciding to take this step now because it feels like the right time. We can't wait to meet all of you!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Road trip last year from Los Angeles to Miami, staying in Miami for two weeks and then heading back to Cali not before stopping by Nawlins for Mardi Gras. All done in a rented freight Semi-truck and cheap lodging . Eye and soul opening trip .

One of the most awesome things we've done was arrive to what the end of the Chinese New Year parade in LA and exploring around we were drawn to the sound of house music from far away. After finding where the music was originating from we walked into a private alley party. We stayed and danced non-stop in the alley along with random strangers. At the end of the night we discretely left after we we were politely informed we were not part of the party.One of the most amazing nights in our book!

We are also trying to make our trip to be one one of the most amazing things both of us have done.

Can teach some tricks in the kitchen along with some handyman help around the house. Love meeting new minds and souls. Not a boring couple what so ever , we balance each other out .
