About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live every day and not waste any time with things that are not important.

ABOUT ME

I'm really a biker, a triathete, motorcyclest, beer afficinado, cook, music buff, home repair man, and gracious host.

PHILOSOPHY

I would like to do something everyday of my life that is worth taking forward. I don't want to look back and wonder where the time went, but have a story for every piece of it

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch is open to those exploring the world and those interested in sharing their experiences with me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Several times in Germany I found myself at a friend of friend of a friend's house for the night. Those random encounters have lead to most memorable nights of my life; finding people seeming so far removed my normal life and being able to build solid life long relationships.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in the UK for a year despite growing up in a home where none of my family had previously set foot on an airplane.

I biked (West to East) the state of Iowa in 18.5 hours.

I biked 330 miles self supported on gravel roads in 26 hours to get 3rd place in one of the most crazy bike races in the US.

I have qualified for nationals in the US Half Ironman Championship series.

I drank 4.5 lit of beer in the Hofbrauhaus (Munich, Germany) in a single sitting.

I've worked in downtown San Francisco.

I commute between Main and California for my new businesses...
