¡Hi! I'm Amilcar.
I grew up in a small-medium city on the banks of the Paraná River, Argentina. So I really enjoy nature, the outdoors, and water -rivers, seas, lagoons- (and aquatic activities). I also have a great love for street photography and big cities.

I'm new around here.

I consider myself an honest, calm, organised, happy, curious guy with an open and cheerful mind, with friendly and sincere intentions.

I have always traveled staying in hostels and I never dared to do Couchsurfing. Perhaps it was the fear of the unknown, of the unforeseen.
But as a song says: fear paralyzes you, it doesn't let you react (in spanish, jajaja).

And here I am, launching myself into living this long-awaited experience.

I always thought: traveling is more than knowing places. It is to know the culture, the way of life, the architecture, the streets, the public transport, etc. 

That is what attracts me to Couchsurfing: the approach and contact between people, cultures, experiences. Staying in a place is more than a place to sleep: it is an opportunity to meet each other and bond.

I really like reading. My tastes are diverse: from theoretical material such as Foucault, Judith Butler, Preciado, etc... to literature books.

The same thing happens to me with music. Without music I could not live. Life should be lived with a soundtrack in the background.

I also like movies, a lot. Even more so those movies that come out of the Hollywood industry.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went to a nudist / naturist beach in Miami. It was amazing. I would do it again. Everybody were naked and free, laughing and having fun.

Go to a Moroccan hammam (a place where they technically strip you naked and bathe you like a baby).

Swim in the ocean on winter.

Having the possibility of traveling and "living the road" is already something incredible.

I am predisposed and attentive. I like to collaborate and be useful, helping in everything that is necessary. I also like to create an orderly and clean space to facilitate coexistence.
