Join Couchsurfing to see Andrew’s full profile. It’s free!
I'm from Glasgow in Scotland where it rains all the time and everyone's a depressed alcoholic in a skirt. I like free-spirited people who are trying to walk their own path.
I tried a degree in Genetics a few years ago but I decided to travel instead. I lived in Australia for a year and taught English in Chile for nine months. I'm about to return to Scotland to begin studying Geography and Politics.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is the most personal way to travel.
I like reading, writing, exploring the natural world, listening to psychedelic music, and meeting interesting people. I'm interested in politics, anthropology, literature, the media, and football.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On this trip, camping in The Grampians was amazing, such a beautiful place.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm sure we can teach each other loads of things. I've worked as an English teacher so I can help you brush up on your grammar... Or if that sounds really boring I can teach you about my country.
I'd love to learn about anything, I think I'd like to become more practical so if you could teach me a craft that would be amazing.
We can share a drink and a long, futile conversation about politics/religion/books/football/Noam Chomsky/Neil Young.
Countries I’ve Visited
