I am a everyday learner, taking something positive away from most situations. I love to travel, laugh, excerisize, learn, share stories & wisdom, explore & adventure, discover, and do the spontaneous. To go off the beaten track often, and to soak in as much as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am open to guide surfers around my town here in Vancouver. However, I am also in preparation of my trip, leaving on April 10, I land in London and from there to Milan. I hope to do some surfing to get a behind the scenes view of the cities I visit from locals. I love to exchange stories, culture, wisdom, and smiles. Some of the places I will be staying or surfing in are England, Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Austria, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, Mali, Ghana, and Ethiopia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was living in Casablanca, Morocco in 2009. During the rainy season my cousin and I went for a run, unknowingly a storm was beginning. We were running along the beach and you could see lightning, and the sand began to fly through the air. The water was splashing high against the rocks, and huge waves were visible as far as the eye could see. We decided to jump in for a little, and as we took off our shoes, socks, and shirts, the wind picked them up and carried them across the beach. It was definitely a memorable time, and the scenery was strangely beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have 2 years of chef training, as well as over a year of cooking in a cafe/restaurant. I would be happy to share or learn kitchen skills. Also, have some personal training knowledge and took a one year course. I would love to learn new languages, skills, and techniques of any sort.
